During my last 4 years at PHS I had lots of wonderful teachers that helped me out along the way, but if I had to choose a favorite it'd be Mrs.Allen. She is a very strong woman who pushes all of her students, no matter how challenging they are, towards success. When she looks around her classroom she sees us all as people with potential, even when we don't see it in ourselves and for that I thank her, and for that she is my favorite.

My favorite faculty member at Pittsfield High School would have to be Officer Godfroy. I have grown a great relationship with her. I have gone through a lot the last 2 years with school and outside of school and she took the time to listen to me and help me. Thank you for being a positive role model in my life and helping me get past bumps in the road!

Even tho I've only had Ms. Boino for two years she's easily one of my favorite teachers here at PHS. She has pushed me to be the best I can be and she never expected anything less then perfect from me. She knew how much potential I had as a student and as a person and always inspired me to excel in life. Even tho I didn't have her for a teacher this year everytime I would see her in the hall and she would check in and see how I was doing. Thank you so much for pushing me the way you did. You made me a better student and a better person.

Its hard to pick a favorite teacher when Ive had so many different connections with so many different faculty members, but if I were to pick a favorite it would be Mrs. Murphy. Ive had Mrs Murphy for two years now and there isn't a day that I regret taking her class for another year. The stories that she tells and the ways that she teaches make it so easy to connect with her. She is always willing to listen and give advice, and she gives off such a happy vibe. Im really going to miss going to her class everyday after graduation.

I want to thank her for everything she has helped me with, she's helped me through these last two years with school work to personal life as well. Of all the martyrs of which we call our leaders I would have to pick Bar as one who never gives into the nay sayers of which each class is. He rather acts along with what he preaches. He gives it to you straight and cuts out all the crap. He wants you to succeed and expects you to have a damn good reason why you don't. Bar allows for you to say or think anything you wish but you had better stand by your convictions and fight for them. He showed me that I don't just have to be a sheep and follow the herd headed for the slaughterhouse. That my future is just that, MY future and I decide where it leads. That obstacles are only preventative if I allow them to be.

In my time here at PHS i've had plenty of different teachers some that went above and beyond the call of duty and some that i just didn't agree with but if there's one teacher ill miss the most its gonna be Ms. Parker she has to be the first teacher that ever made me interested in math not only that she took the time to talk to us she got to know you if you're in her and you got to know her she met you as an equal and treated you with the same respect you gave her and wasn't afraid to put you in you're place if you stepped out of line so Ms. Parker gets a ten out of ten would take her class again.

It was not an easy transition from middle school to high school. I came from Richmond Consolidated where I graduated with a class less than 20 people; it was absolutely terrifying going into a school with around 1,000 other kids. Freshmen year wasn't fun. Teachers were the only people I relied on when it came to dealing with my new high school experience. Mr. Reynolds was my first period teacher on the first day of school as a freshman. The first impression was simple; he was crazy. I had him for a teacher for two years where I came to the conclusion that he was doing crazy and unexpected things to make the kids understand the lessons more. Many kids complained about his actions where I looked forward to his classes. He made us laugh during discussions which made the concept of what was being taught way more easier to understand than reading from a book all day and not understand what is being taught. Mr. Reynolds knew from the beginning that I was shy and did not want to talk with all these loud, annoying kids around me. He made me talk in discussion; it helped me open up a little more. I don't know if I would be so talkative and outgoing today if it wasn't for my favorite teacher, Mr. Reynolds.

My favorite teacher would have to be mrs Quinones. Our class even though it sometimes got a bit hectic was a comfort place for me. Somewhere I felt confident and safe. Shehas done so much for me and she doesn't even know. By being her student she gave me a lot of lessons that helped me to become more confident in who I am and my abilities. She showed me that even in the worse of rimes you can always smile. She showed me more kindness and sincerity than I can remember from most teachers. But I'm sad she couldn't see me through my senior year and see me grow up and become the person she always said you believed me to be. I'm not all the way there yet but i'm on my way and her lessons sometimes help me stay on track. You'll always be unforgettable to me because you took a little furtherstep in helping me be successful. Thank you for all you have done for me Mrs. Quinones. I'll never forget it.

Four years at PHS has felt longer than going to middle school and elementary school combined. Although it has felt like school is never going to end, the end is finally here. Mr. Renton has made these last 4 years fly by. Every kid who has taken his class had a common interest in wood working, welding, and so many other things. Mr. Renton finds a way to help everyone willing to learn this trade and once he is done everyone understands questions they once had. He is very skilled in what he does so he easily helps mold others into skilled, hard workers. Finally, Mr. Renton is not your ordinary teacher, if you have any issues you can go to him, if you dont like something you can tell him and work it out, and lastly you can talk to him like another person and not like a teacher. Therefore Mr. Renton is my favorite teacher.

Throughout my 4 years here at PHS I have had many teachers, some I did not get along with and some I did get along with. But the one teacher that I will always remember and always be thankful for is Ms. Quinn. Ms. Quinn has been there for me since freshman year, when I was just a little 13 year old. She's been there for sports, other classes I've struggled with, problems I've had outside of school and when I was having a bad day, she knew right away and always made me feel better. The teachers that I did like at PHS, were all good people- the only kind of people I get along with. I liked them for different reasons, but appreciated them all the same. I liked Mrs Small because she was always telling me about her latest dog story and about life before becoming a teacher. Ms. Pink was also a cool person to talk with and made me laugh sometimes. But I think I appreciated her mainly because she really is a good person. And lastly, Mrs. Hoag, for sleep yoga and all the other things she does that doesn't involve a stupid game and a ball. Mrs Parker deserves to be recognized for being a good person too.

My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Colllingsworth, as a scholar, he has been an inspiration to every aspect of my final year at phs. Now you may think "oh, this is so corny." However, oh, it is not. He truly is a very majestic individual who any underclassmen at phs should be honored to have, and so, after this year comes to an end, Mr. Collingsworth will be a teacher that has had a permanent impact on my days as a scholar. Farewell.

If I were to choose one person at PHS to be my favorite it would be the all mighty Mr.Bishop. The reason why is because every day he has kept me in a positive mood, and he also kept me on the path to graduation.

Within my four years at Pittsfield High, my favorite and most influential teacher would have to be Mr. MacDonald. He pushes me to my full potential. He has an open mind and knows what is best for each student individually, even if the student is not driven towards an Agriculture program. He acknowledges every student within the hallways even if he doesn't have the student in his classroom. He knows how to push his students to be hard working adults in a person's trade. I feel more comfortable around him than a regular teacher and I go to him to work out everyday problems. For he is my favorite teacher.

Throughout my time at PHS I have had many helpful and influential teachers. If I had to choose my very favorite I would have to say Ms. Smalls because she has always been there for me and helped me and pushed me to get my work done to be where and I need to be. So for that I think Ms. Small a is definitely my favorite teacher. ❤️

My favorite staff member at phs would have to be my shop teacher Mr. Galok. He's not only my shop teacher but a great friend of mine outside of school. I have had him since my freshman year and throughout those four years, he has not only helped me with my skills on small engines but helped me improve my health. I have worked with him outside of school for awhile now and all those times we had eaten lunch together after a couple hours of work really helped me. We would always talk about exercise and our intake of carbohydrates and suggest certain foods that will help blood sugars and by us talking about those it has helped me eat healthier and manage my Diabetes better. I can't thank him enough for everything he has done for me and making my four years of high school fun. His class was always the one I looked forward to and I am going to miss it but I am sure I will come back and visit if he is still here next year. Thank you for not only making me a better student/mechanic but for making me a better person as well.

To my favorite teacher, i doubt that she'd believe it. But Ms.Zahn you are going to be missed, i know we butt heads and didnt get along some of the time but i loved every second of it. With history being my favorite subject having you teach it was boring at times but i enjoyed it. I like the way you teach and I appreciate your help getting through this mess called high school. I'll make sure to visit and I hope things stay well.

My favorite teacher throughout all of my school years has to be Ms. Quinn. She not only taught me about art but she has also taught me life lessons. She is always there to help me whether it be helping with an art project or helping me with things outside of school. Out of the many teachers I've had I would like to thank Ms. Murphy. When you have Ms Murphy as a teacher you can tell that she truly cares about teaching, and all of students. She's not afraid to open up and tell stories about her life, or her experiences. I would also like to thank Mrs. Allen. Mrs Allen never gives up on her students and makes teaching her passion. I have only had a few teachers from kindergarten to now who have truly cared as much as Ms. Murphy and Mrs. Allen. Thank you for making a positive impact on my life! I have only known this staff member since this year but during that time she has really helped me in many ways. Mrs Wagner in the college & career center has such a bubbly personality and she really shows that she genuinely cares about the students that she talks too. She has walked me through so many different colleges and helped me figure out what I want to do with my life after high school. I know that it's her job to do that but you can tell that she enjoys it and makes you feel comfortable enough to go talk to her about anything whether it has to do with college or not.

My favorite teacher after attending four years at Pittsfield high would be none other than the man himself Mr. Barsanti my brother. Somehow through his sick mind and his elusive ideas his teaching is rare and remarkable. His remarkable class and lessons learned within the close doors of a crazy middle aged man with hectic thoughts and odd teaching techniques. Through being a brother and not using his superior power left many room to build a bond with a wise man. To have comfortability with a teacher can open many doors to ones learning and Barr has mastered that, if not pretty damn close. With his very rare choice of vocabulary and rawness of expression led the classroom to stem from instincts. To express how our learning minds receive and interpret or decipher others intellect had the opportunity to freely verbalize with it against others trains of others to get a grasp on perspectives. To find the why. Why do you think like that? Why? Why are certain things used in a ad? Why? Why was a odd word put in a certain sentence? Why? Thank you Barr, for being the rare crazy man you are but a inspirational teacher. You've helped me set the first stone in learning not only English class but life, now it's time I finish what you helped me start. One stone at a time.

Throughout the four years at phs I had came across many teachers and staff that were very influential to my education, and myself. I'm very grateful and appreciative to this women of value and savvy. She challenged all of her students, pushed them a little farther in their education. I had always enjoyed history as a subject but she took it to a new experience. I always enjoy the intellectual lessons she would teach, she brought creativity to the lessons and teaching and made them very enjoyable. If I had to choose my favorite teacher the two years that I've been going to Pittsfield High School I don't know who I would choose. Mr. Pound made chemistry interesting to me I was competitive. I loved having the highest grade in the class. And I loved knowing exactly what I was talking about. Mrs. Ray she's always there to help. I always go into cosmetology ready. I know what I'm doing. She gives us everything we need to succeed in this career. I have an amazing job because of her! I couldn't thank her enough. Mr. Collingsworth he's funny dude and from the beginning I knew I would like his class. All of his assignments are challenging and fun. I don't agree with the group thing he's putting us through right now but that's just me. Even though I don't like working with people, especially when it comes to the grade, I've enjoyed it. I've enjoyed all of these classes. I was challenged and it feels good. I don't have a favorite teacher but these teachers had an impact on me and I will leave this school and take what I've learned and do the best that I can with it.

My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Small. (sorry Collingsworth). I've had Mrs. Small for 3 out of the 4 years, and she made each year incredibly fun and easy. When I had no one to turn to for help, I could always go to her for help. Especially when I was out for a month with Pneumonia, she gave me many health tips. She always has a great sense of humor, and always was easy to get along with. I will always remember our debates and arguments on 9/11, the government, and everyday life.
